Release Notes:

Philadelphia rapper Freeway has announced his plans to release a new album produced entirely by frequent G-Unit producer Jake One.

On a short video clip posted on YouTube, Free took time out from a studio session to speak on the upcoming collaboration, entitled The Stimulus Package. Its official, I got the album coming this summer, he said. Freeway, Jake One, The Stimulus Package. Its gonna be crazy, yall gonna love it. We calling it The Stimulus Package cause we stimulating hip-hop, we taking it back to the real hip-hop. One producer, one MC... were putting it together right now.

This is not the first time the State Property rhyme spitter has worked with Jake. The two linked for Frees online Month Of Madness campaign and for several tracks on the Seattle-bred beatmakers White Van Music LP.

Brand new album and official follow up to Struggle Music from The Leagues lead emcee Matre. Easter Sonday has a theme of turning points and re-birth in ones life, so on a
personal and spiritual level for the LA rapper, he found room for change and trying different styles, including a Latin track and even an entire reggae song in which he sings instead of raps. Very different but a step in the right direction, the album also features guest appearances by DJ Drez, 2Mex, Pigeon John, with returning producer Jericho J. on almost the entire album and guest scratching by LA Jae of the Shapeshifters and DJ Drez on select tracks.

Totals
01. 50:45 min

Release Notes:

not really a bootleg but whatever..

50 minutes of non-stop Barfly mixed by Mr. Dibbs. Plenty of preview of the new album Ive Been Worse coming in 2006 on Self Core Records.

Barfly is a punk rock vato. The Seattle based rapper and Oldominion Crew stand out claims he doesnt write graffitti anymore but admits to writing his name on the foggy shower door every afternoon when he wakes up. Fred Durst once said his music sounds like a white version of Eminem but what the fuck does that dork know about music
anyway? Barfly also produces, does a lot of visual art for rent money and spends a lot of his free time in hospitals and jails. Hes mostly left handed. He only eats Cereal, Thai Food and Carne Asada Tacos. His favorite drink is Crown and Rocks. His favorite famous chicks are Frances Farmer, Soleil Moonfrye, and Phoebe Cates. Hes originally from Southern California so He thinks chicks wont like him when they find out he doesnt have a car. He cant have anything nice because hell just break it or lose it anyway. He can barely even hold onto tattoos, much less a set of keys. Speaking of tattoos, He has a tattoo of a Taco Truck on him because he really, really loves tacos but you knew that already.

Equally at home performing to rock and hip hop crowds alike, Barfly has shared the stage with Deathcab For Cutie, Sage Francis, Harvey Danger, Buck 65, Shawn Smith, Ras Kass, Cage, The Streets, The Fitness, Chromeo, The Spits, Aesop Rock, The Lashes, Zeke et al. He is currently making the rounds performing his new solo material and putting the finishing touches on what will be his first solo album. The
album, titled Ive Been Worse is very much a well rendered peek into the often funny, often frightening thoughts and experiences of this very convicted, credible artist . The albums subject matter runs the gamut from Entry Level Pimping to taking the change jar to the coinstar for beer and lottery money. The album is entirely produced by his partner in crime, Onry Ozzborn (of Oldominion and Grayskul). You may recall gifted solo artist Onry Ozzborn as the other half of he and Barflys group Norman. The critically acclaimed pair toured the U.S. with Def Jux artist Mr. Lif in May 2003 to support their Polarity long player which was released on Seattles Under The Needle Recordings. The album experienced alot of radio success peaking at #2 on CMJ and hovered around the top 10 for 17 weeks in the Spring of 2003. In addition to his constant touring and performing at home, Barfly has collaborated on projects with numerous different artists including Technical Itch, Justin Broaderick, DJ Swamp, Awol One, 2 Mex and Fat Lip. He is also a member of the groups The Nite Owls (with frequent Grayskul producer Mr. Hill), Candys .22 (with Existereo of The Shapeshifters) and The Saturday Knights, an emerging Seattle pop rock band with a spot on formula for making good, fun party music.

Barfly insisted his bio point out that hes not a thug, hes just a fuck up. Fair enough, Barfly.

Release Notes:

Officially pressed on CD after previously only being available as digital download! Its been eight years since the last Beat Machine came out and Eligh has no doubt been busy with his crew and his own solo work along with side projects and plenty of production duties in the time that has passed. But under the persona of Gandalf, the Living Legends member has always brought something different to the table. These are abstract extractions of sonic sounds and samples and pieced together by an artist with no limits. Elighs lyrics are poetry on paper, but part of Gandalfs poetry is his production and the only way to enjoy it is for it to be heard. Aside from maybe a little Berlin moment, this is a perfect fit in the Beat Machine series and youll
notice perhaps that its a little more advanced as its been so long since the previous two. Sure to be considered a new classic amongst fans and overall a dope and often trippy instrumental album.

Jeffrey Type Tune was born and raised in Seattle, WA. Forming a punk band in high school, most of his influences are from the punk rock genre. What sets him apart from your average rapper is his motto: have fun. Unlike most emcees, Type appears egoless yet confident, fun not cocky. When he hits the stage, its time to party! His shows are more interactive with the crowd and tend to turn into comedy routines between songs. He is in three groups (Illegitimate Children with Grieves, the Let Go
with Kublakai and Captain Midnite and Fuck You! with Inkubiz)

Release Notes:

The mid-to-late 1980s has become know as Hip-Hops golden age: and one of the foundation stone recordings that reputation rests on was the debut by the Jungle Brothers. Straight Out The Jungle helped Hip-Hop become a globally transformative force, ushering in an era of extended rap families, adventurous sampling and Afrocentricity. This release adds remixes, instrumentals, b-sides and the groundbreaking dance track Ill House You.

BTW the instrumental version of Behind The Bush is another version of The Promo, but thats how its labeled on the cd. Enjoy

Goodie Mob is a hip hop act based in Atlanta, Georgia. Members Cee-Lo (Thomas Callaway), Khujo (Willie Knighton, Jr.), T-Mo Goodie (Robert Barnett), and Big Gipp (Cameron Gipp) make up the group, which has been functioning since 1995.

The act's name acts as a double backcronym. As explained on the track "Fighting" on Soul Food, Goodie Mob means "the GOOD DIE Mostly Over Bullshit".

Its members were all born in Atlanta, and the group is based there with the rest of the Dungeon Family, a collective which includes OutKast and P.A. (Parental Advisory). Goodie was first heard featured on several songs from OutKast's first album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Cee-Lo was the most visible member of the group prior to his departure in 2000 (among other projects, he is now recording in collaboration with DJ Danger Mouse as Gnarls Barkley), while Big Gipp has made several rounds on other Dungeon Family members' albums, and T-Mo and Khujo form a duo within the group called The Lumberjacks.

Goodie Mob's debut was the Gold-certified album Soul Food in (1995). Produced by Organized Noize and critically acclaimed. It was on this album that the phrase Dirty South was actually coined, with a song of that same title. This album touched on many social and political issues such as racism, discrimination, geo-politics, and gentrification. Although the album dealt with such heavy issues, some songs still carried a lighter tone, such as "Soul Food," in which the crew expressed their love for home cooked meals. Along with Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, this album put Atlanta's rap scene on the map.

World-renowned radio turntablist DJ Revolution is known for putting together solid mix tapes, but finally fans get to enjoy an album of his comprised of entirely original material. In 12's We Trust is the name of DJ Revolution's freshman attempt at producing a full album, and while it is obvious he is a competent DJ, his production skills have yet to reach his skills on the turntables. The album has mostly turntable-inspired tracks, but DJ Revolution includes a handful of songs featuring up and coming underground MCs. Hands down, the best cut on the album is "Evolution" featuring Evidence of the Dilated Peoples; the beats and the rhymes are on point. In the end, while the album does an excellent job of exposing turntablism as an art form to the masses, it only does an adequate job of elevating hip-hop production as a whole.

This album features an all-star cast including Evidence & Iriscience Of Dilated Peoples, Defari, Chino XL, DJ Badu, DJ Craze, DJ Melo-D, DJ Infamous, DJ Spinbad, Roc Raida Of The X-ecutioners, Buc Fifty, Rasco, Planet Asia, Shabaam Sahdeeq, Choclair, Krondon, Kardinal Offishial, & Ill Advised.

DJ Revolution is a Los Angeles native mostly known for his DJ residency with Sway & King Tech on their nationally syndicated hip-hop radio exhibition called The Wakeup Show. He had a hand in the production and scratching on Styles of Beyond's debut album, while releasing his own, entitled R2K v1.0, in 1999. A year later saw him release his next full-length effort, In 12's We Trust.

After hearing a good Wakeup Show, one should clearly understand if they like hip-hop or not, because that's about as real as it gets. Over the years, the show has brought almost every legendary MC the world knows at one point or another through their studios. It is therefore comforting that DJ Revolution has not forgotten that method for success in the mixed-album market, again bringing some of the tastiest records in hip-hop to his turntables for a little cutting and mixing. A few of the standard people appear, including Planet Asia, Big L, Rasco, Kool Keith, and Eminem, but more notably there are some rappers that a lot of listeners may have yet to hear from that appear as well. Guys like Lootpack, Buc Fifty, Droop Capone, Insane Poetry, and Royce Da 5'9" round it out nicely and bring a bit more credibility to what's going on in the underground of hip-hop. With so many DJ's making mixed compilations, it can be hard to single out winners, but this album's quality is hard to overlook.

Styles of Beyond is an underground rap group from Los Angeles, California, more specifically the San Fernando Valley. The group consists of MCs Ryan Patrick Maginn (Ryu) and Takbir Bashir (Tak), Colton Raisin Fisher (DJ Cheapshot), and producer Jason Rabinowitz (Vin Skully). They have released two LPs and were heavily featured on Mike Shinoda's Fort Minor release, The Rising Tied. They were also signed to Shinoda's Machine Shop Recordings label, although they left the label in late 2008. They are also associated with the Demigodz supergroup which features similar artists such as Apathy, Celph Titled, and 7L & Esoteric.

2000 Fold is Styles of Beyond's debut album, released on Bilawn Records in 1997 (then re-released in 1999 on SpyTech Records). This album was only released in an "edited version", whereas Megadef was only released in an "explicit version". 2000 Fold wasn't in print for several years, and was then only available as a download via iTunes. In July 2007, it was made available once again in CD format, on both the Projekt Revolution and SpyTech Records official web-stores.
